WHERE STORIES LIVE

The Farm has been in the Saltsman family since 1970, where four sisters were raised before making homes in places like Manhattan, Austin, Chicago, Bowling Green, Connecticut, and St. Louis. This place has always been more than land. The name lives on in the Saltsman Sisters, now dreaming up ways to welcome others here.

Guests can enjoy long walks through the fields, evenings around the bonfire, and mornings by the lake with coffee in hand. The house holds stories, but the land holds possibility.

THE SALTSMAN SISTERS

We are four sisters who grew up loving this land and each other. Each of us brings a different strength—hospitality, creativity, planning, connection—but what we share is a love for welcoming others.

The Farm reflects our family’s values. It’s rooted in kindness, openness, and the belief that slowing down is a gift. We’re building something special here. You’re invited.

THE STAY SPACE

The house is the heart of The Farm. Built in the 1970s and lovingly kept, it’s where generations have gathered, rested, and reconnected. With wide windows facing the lake and a porch made for storytelling, it feels both familiar and full of possibility. Even as we focus on the land, this space holds room for shared meals, evening conversations, and quiet mornings with coffee.
